Celebrating our students' achievements
Excellence in VCAL
The College's comprehensive and long-running VCAL program has met with some extraordinary success this year. Six of our students have been honoured at an Awards Presentation recently held by atEAST - a consortium of Eastern Region schools who offer various alternative programs to the traditional academic route. Abdalla, Chris, Leah and Adam received awards and two other students were singled out for special mention. Second year student Jonathan earned the Exellence Award while first year student Phillip was honoured with the title of Trainee of the Year. These awards are a testament to the hard work put in by the students and their teachers throughout the year. Congratulations to you all!
Soccer Star!
Congratulations to College student, Laura, on her recent success at the Tracie McGovern Cup. During the school holidays, she headed to Port Macquarie with the South Melbourne soccer team where she was part of the action during the "challenging football tournament for women". The competition was fierce, but her team made it all the way to the finals and eventually won the day against the Brisbane Eastern Suburbs team. Well done, Laura!"Youth Decide" at the College

Congratulations to you all for having a say in the future of your world! As an extra reward, one lucky voter - Harley - was the winner of an iPod nano.
A group of dedicated Year 12 students at Forest Hill College is promoting Youth Decide 09 - the national vote on climate change. Students at the College are being encouraged to cast their vote and have their say on the future of the world in which they live.
