All students in Years 7-12 at Forest Hill College wear the compulsory college uniform as prescribed by the College Council. The uniform is comfortable to wear, reflecting the college values while promoting a sense of college identity. This attractive uniform consists of a College blazer, College jumper, shirt and tie or polo shirt. Female students have the options of a summer dress or skirt, winter skirt or navy pants; male students have the option of grey shorts or trousers. All students are required to wear black leather school shoes.
Our College sports uniform consists of a sport polo with navy shorts or pants. Students are expected to wear College uniform to school and change into their sports uniform as directed by their teacher.
The College uniform is readily available from The Victoria Schoolwear Company located at 396 Middleborough Road, Blackburn.
Uniform and Dress Code Requirements

As well as summer and winter uniform items, there is a separate physical education/sports uniform. The details of uniform items can be found on the attachment to this page.
The student dress code reflects the values of the college, enforces health and safety measures, and supports our commitment to a 'sun smart' environment. Overview
A policy is an agreed statement that sets out what the College aims to do, and the guidelines it will use to carry out its activities. It establishes a unique vision for the College and sets out principles to be followed by those responsible for turning policy into action.
Policy development is the responsibility of the College Council and the Principal. All policies reflect the purpose and goals of the college strategic plan and conform with the requirements of the Victorian Department of Education and Training.
In order to ensure that policies reflect changes in government requirements and improvements in the strategic plan a process for regular review operates in the college.
College policies:
Clarify the aims and provide a framework for the practices of the College.
Provide a clear sense of purpose to direct programs, enable effective allocation of resources and consistency in planning and practice across the College.
Provide simple, documented statements which enable staff, parents and students to understand the nature and direction of College programs.
Specify the outcomes required for students in curriculum areas and in support of teaching and learning.
Provide documented statements to assist in the processes of evaluation and College improvement.
A range of key policies is attached to each category.Management Curriculum Resources Environment
