The college is proud of its extensive and successful debating program. In this popular extra-curriculuar activity, students undertake a training program that introduces them to the skills of debating and its practical applications. They then move from training to formalized debating within the Glen Waverley division of Debating Victoria's schools competition.
Debating in 2010
Forest Hill College's debating team has enjoyed a terrific start to the 2010 debating season and is currently undefeated in their grade in the Glen Waverley region of Debating Victoria's schools competition. Congratulations to Meagan and Rebekah who have both received "best speaker" awards so far this season.Junior debaters will once more be able to take part in the training programme commencing in Term 3. We encourage all interested students to join this activity, which is invaluable preparation for future debating! More details are available from Ms. Longthorp via the General Office.
