Attendance: Why Does It Matter?
"Be on time, be at school, that's the rule!"
Why is it the rule? Why are we calling home to check on absences? Why does it matter?
It matters because we're committed to your child's education at Forest Hill College and the best way to nurture learning is with consistent attendance. Even regular late arrival can affect the quality of learning - it is estimated that the average student will lose up to one year of education due to absence and lateness. An entire year! Just image the impact that could have by the time your child reaches Year 12.
